Weekend cleaning and hands-on maintenance support help mosque teams complete work that may not fit into the weekday routine. Volunteers take on practical tasks quietly and consistently.

FOM volunteers support the everyday work that keeps mosques welcoming, organised and ready to serve their communities.
Ramadan service
During Ramadan, FOM members assist with meal preparation, distribution, serving and post-event clean-up so congregants can break their fast in an orderly, welcoming environment.
Programmes & events
FOM supports religious lectures, community gatherings, fundraising activities, Qurban programmes and other special events where additional manpower is useful.
Harmony & outreach
The group also supports community awareness efforts that encourage peace, mutual understanding and religious harmony in Singapore’s multicultural society.

Service can also build understanding.
Over the years, FOM has worked with Singapore’s Religious Rehabilitation Group (RRG) in supporting community awareness programmes that promote religious harmony and help prevent misunderstandings arising from extremist ideologies.
The aim is not only to maintain places of worship, but also to strengthen friendship, unity and a peaceful community for everyone.
